Why webquests? 1) Minequests provide a way for teachers to address technology and other state standards while kids engage with mining industry info. 2) Minequests go beyond a study of facts and into providing opportunities for problem solving and the application and evaluation of information. 3) Minequests seek to engage students as active learners, practicing the teamwork skills they will need on the job.
