Keeping the big question in mind ...
How can you maximize your chances for successfully completing a Minequest?
In Mining Information, you will hook up with websites through links provided on the page. You’ve heard the saying about “finding a needle in a haystack.” Searching out reliable information from sources like the Internet can feel like that. By using the links provided, you won’t have to waste time searching through web space for good sources of info. Also, watch for the research tips included on Minequest pages for hints to keep your research time safe.
Access all the links provided on Minequest pages to get information necessary to complete your learning journey.
Use index cards, a notebook, or other specific tools your teacher may provide or require to keep track of ideas you want to remember. Include the source of your information so that you can return to it if necessary.
Check with your teacher to see if you can add bookmarks to the menu in your website browser. You may want to return to a website later for more information. Jot down web page addresses if you are not allowed to add bookmarks.
