Keeping the big question in mind ...
What do I need to do to make Minequesting in my classroom a smooth operation and the best use of instructional time?
In the Processing Information page of each Minequest, students are expected to begin analyzing or synthesizing the information they are finding. Often, Minequests direct this work to be done in teams. Sometimes additional web links are found on this page to help students dig deeper. To dig deeper into things you should consider about Teamwork in your classroom before beginning a Minequest, use this link.

Task: Answer these questions before beginning a Minequest with your students.
1) Do you want students to work through all the tasks included in the Minequest?
2) Which products will you collect for grading?
3) Do you want to change any of the teamwork elements to individual assignments or individual work to teamwork assignments?
4) Should students print the worksheets from the links provided or will you provide copies? If you decide to have them print the files, check with your tech colleague or try downloading a file before your students log on. This will reveal how your local operating system deals with downloaded files. You may need to give your students some additional information on handling and printing these files.
