Are webquests an instructional strategy you want to use to deliver your content standards?

Consider these questions.

• Do you find the basic rationale and premises on which the webquest concept is based convincing? Why or why not?
• Has your initial research revealed examples of webquests that meet your standards for high quality instruction? If not, what have they been missing?
• Does the webquest concept seem to be a match for any of your content standards?

If the webquest concept seems worth pursuing, what further questions do you need to answer for implementation?

• What is the extent of your local technology resources?
• What tech support will you need?
• Is scheduling Internet access an issue?

Brainstorm other resources and/or obstacles that will influence your decision to use webquests in your classroom.
