Welcome to minequests! l learning journeys sponsored by the Wyoming Mining Association connecting teachers and students with their communities, standards and technology |

Sure ... the Wyoming Mining Association wants you and your students to know more about the roles mining industries play in our communities. However, as a part of its mission, the Association emphasizes its commitment to education and it seeks to be a strong educational partner. Support for the Minequest activities hopes to assist you in providing high quality instruction for Wyoming kids, leading students to a deeper understanding of the tough and complex issues we all face today and tomorrow. The Association hopes these Minequest learning journeys will help you engage your students in applying higher level thinking skills to solve problems, meet the intent of many Wyoming State Standards across contents, including technology, and introduce tomorrow's citizens to the concepts of complexity and compromise.

The Minequest collection includes tasks which are relevant to language arts, math, science, social studies, vocational and technology standards.
